Meter Reads

What it does

Meter Reads is a small utility for anyone who wants to keep an accurate record of their electricity consumption. It handles the UK-specific bits — MPAN numbers, day and night registers, unit rates in pence, standing charges, VAT — and works out what a period cost you based on the tariff that was active at the time.
